Border Security Force troopers have foiled an intrusion attempt from the Pakistani side in Punjab's Ferozepur sector and killed one intruder. BSF Officials said, the intrusion attempt was made yesterday evening in the Border Out Post (BOP) Kassoke in Hussainiwala sector.
They said, five intruders were detected moving suspiciously close to the border fence. The officials said, When the intruders were challenged, they fired at the BSF troopers.
In the counter offensive, one intruder was killed while the others escaped. The body of the unidentified intruder, believed to be a Pakistani, was handed over to the Punjab Police.
